New Year, New Drive: Step 1 for you New Year’s Resolution to Write More.

So, now it’s well into the second week of the new year. Things have calmed down, and you’re starting to think about that new year resolution. How about you do more than think about it?

How long has it been since you’ve picked up that pen, and began working on that book idea? I know, for me, I’d always used to defer to doing what was expedient rather than what my heart wanted to do.

I wanted to write a book, but I had to work. Every time I wanted to work on the book, other things took priority. Well, this year, I am going to encourage you to take the time that is necessary to write your book.

Let’s take it one small step at a time. Today’s step is simple. Decide what kind of book you want to write. Are you more of a fiction person or do you have an affinity for non-fiction? Do you want to tell your life’s story, or do you prefer to speak of a historical or educational topic? That’s it for today. Type your topic in the comments below.

  1. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the
theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd”
on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

  2. Great post but I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on this
subject? I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
    Bless you!

P.S. If you have a minute, would love your feedback on my new website re-design. You can find it by
searching for “royal cbd” – no sweat if you can’t.

    Keep up the good work!
